A special presentation entitled Rural Veterans: A Perspective discusses
the importance of getting rural veterans the transportation they need
and why it is so important will be presented by Jesse Cuff, US Army Reserve veteran and Waupaca County Veterans Service Officer.
Learning breakouts and sessions include:
- Military sexual trauma - find out about the growing need for resources for both male and female veterans and what the VA offers.

providers from the Fox Valley to discuss veteran specific programs and
reduction and the gun shop project presented by licensed clinical
social workers and suicide prevention coordinators from the VA.
- Women veterans - find out how the VA is changing with the ever growing numbers of women veterans and programs offered.
Training breakouts include:
Persuade, Refer (QPR) training that saves lives and reduce suicidal
behaviors by providing innovative, practical, and proven suicide
de-escalation information by Chief Tim Jantz, the Veterans Integrated
Service Network 12 (VISN 12) Lead Police Chief and Marine veteran who
has worked in law enforcement for over 35 years.
